Documentary Screening: Echoes of Forks of Cypress In-Person

Join us for a special screening of the upcoming documentary Echoes of Forks of Cypress by History Before Us, which delves into the intertwined lives of the enslaved people and enslavers of the historic Stagville Plantation, the largest in North Carolina.

In the present day, descendants of both the enslaved and the enslavers have united to confront their shared past by reimagining the plantation and its cemetery as spaces for remembrance and reflection.
